I am very good at sports.  I can remember the words to a song if I hear it a few times. I remember better if I write things down.

I would rather work on a project than read about it.

I would rather listen to the teacher than read a textbook. I like to doodle or draw when I take notes.

Before I follow directions, it helps me to see someone else do it first.

It helps if I use my fingers as pointers when reading. I like to look through magazines and read about things I am interested in.
I need a lot of breaks when I am studying. My eyes get tired fast even though they are okay. It's hard for me to understand what sometone is saying if other people are talking around me.
I tend to use my fingers when I am counting in my head. I often talk to myself when I am thinking. I like to work in quiet places.
Studying at a desk is not for me. I like to participate in classroom discussions. I can recall people's faces more easily than I can recall their names.
I don't like to read directions; I'd rather just start doing it. I remember things more easily if I repeat them out loud. It's hard for me to understand a joke someone tells me.
I do not become easily lost, even in new places. My written work doesn't look very neat to me. I am good at reading maps and charts.
I think better if I am able to move around. I can concentrate on something even if it's noisy. It helps me to look at a person when trying to listen.
I work well with my hands doing things such as puzzles or using tools. I understand how to do something if someone "tells" me. I remember what I see better than what I hear.
